Factors Affecting the Quality of FIBCs (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers)

Nov 11, 2025

Transportation is inseparable from FIBCs. FIBCs manufactured by FIBC manufacturers have advantages such as dustproof, moisture-proof, radiation-resistant, and secure construction. They possess sufficient structural strength, are easy to handle, occupy little space, have a long service life, are foldable when empty, have a small volume, a large total capacity, are reusable, recyclable, and widely used. What factors affect their quality?

The base fabric should be cut without loose threads or slings. The elongation and tensile strength of the slings should meet national standards, and the load-bearing capacity should be sufficient. The slings must be sewn outside the slings to enhance their load-bearing strength. Bags with side seams must be sewn under any sling to enhance the seam strength. Sewing should meet requirements, ensuring straightness, no broken needles or loose threads, and at least three backstitches at the beginning and end of each stitch. The sling length should be equal. The surface of the FIBC should be free of obvious stains, and the printed patterns should be clear and accurately positioned.

With increasing environmental awareness, the use of FIBCs (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers) will become more and more widespread, expanding market demand. Seizing this opportunity, avoiding harm, mitigating risks, and better meeting challenges are crucial. Continuously improving equipment, enhancing product quality, and adjusting product structure are essential. More attractive designs and better quality will lead to higher sales and provide development opportunities for FIBCs.
