Four Key Points for Container Bags

Sep 21, 2025

Fibreboard (FIBC) design requirements are even stricter. FIBCs are used as export packaging. They must ensure effective protection of export goods during loading, unloading, transportation, and storage, and ensure safe and complete delivery to their destination. Therefore, FIBC design must address four key aspects: safety, storage, usability, and sealing.

The following are the four key points for everyone's container bags:

1. Safety
This primarily refers to the strength of the FIBC. When planning, consideration must be given to the packaging volume, cargo weight, and number of packaging units, as well as the distance between deliveries and shipments, the vehicle, and the method of transport used. FIBC base fabrics and slings have strict technical specifications. From a safety perspective, FIBC structures are bottom-hung. A safety factor of 1.6 must be achieved.
2. Storage
Rational material selection and proper proportioning should be considered based on the user's usage conditions. The aging resistance of plastic products in sunlight is a growing concern and a common issue in the actual use of container bags. During production, pay attention to the use of anti-purple agents and material selection. 3. Practicality
When designing an FIBC, we must fully consider the detailed methods and procedures for use by the customer, such as lifting, transporting, and loading materials. Furthermore, it is important to consider whether the packaging is for food and whether it is non-toxic and harmless to the packaged food.
4. Sealing
Different packaging materials require different sealing requirements. For example, powders, toxic substances, and items that are vulnerable to contamination have strict sealing requirements. Even damp or moldy materials have special requirements for airtightness. Therefore, when designing an FIBC, pay attention to the impact of the base fabric coating process and sewing process on tightness.
