Ton bags are a kind of flexible transport packaging container, which has the advantages of being moisture-proof, dust-proof, radiation-proof and firm. It can be widely used in the packaging of various powdery, granular and blocky items such as chemicals, building materials, plastics and mineral products, and is an ideal product for the storage and transportation industry.
1. Base fabric material
When designing a ton bag, you must first understand the weight of the loaded goods and determine the volume of the ton bag according to the specific gravity of the packaged goods. It also depends on whether the loaded material is a sharp, solid block material. If so, the base fabric should be thicker when designing the ton bag, otherwise, it can be thinner. In actual design, a ton bag with a load of 500kg generally uses a base fabric of (150-170)G/m2, the longitudinal and transverse tensile strength of the base fabric is (1470-1700)N/5cm, and the elongation is 20-35%. The weight of the ton bag exceeds 1000 kg. The base fabric is generally selected to be (170~210)G/m2. The longitudinal and transverse tensile strength of the base fabric is (1700-2000)N/5cm, and the elongation is 20~35%.
2. Structural design
When designing the structure of a ton bag, the strength of the conventional belt in the specification should be more than twice the strength of the base fabric, but the design effect is not good in practice. Because the strength of the base fabric and the belt is different, the base fabric will crack first. In the design, the belt and the base fabric should use base fabrics with opposite strengths to prevent this problem.
3. Sewing process
In addition to the sewing requirements of the national standard rules, the ton bag also needs to consider the anti-aging function of the stitching and the effect of the stitching on the tensile strength of the base fabric. When packaging powder, toxic, and items that are afraid of purification, the sealing problem must be solved first. Therefore, in the actual design, the ton bag is sewn with thick thread and fine needle or non-woven fabric and the base fabric to improve the sealing. In addition, when sewing ton bags, the sewing thread is required to use polyester thread with a strength of more than 18kg is required to ensure that the sewing strength meets the standard.
4. Monofilament strength
To ensure the strength of the base fabric of the ton bag, the tensile strength of the flat wire needs to be increased. The flat wire strength should reach more than 0.4N/tex, and the elongation should be 15-30%. In the actual production process, the amount of filler masterbatch needs to be strictly controlled, generally around 2%. If too much masterbatch is added or recycled materials are added, the strength of the base fabric will decrease. Therefore, it is necessary to strictly control the quality of raw materials, and the ton bag uses the wire drawing raw materials consumed by the manufacturer with a melt index that meets the standard.
