To prevent FIBCs from breaking during use, consider the following:

1. Proper Operation:

When lifting, do not stand directly under the FIBC to prevent accidents.

Hook the hook in the center of the slings or ropes, avoiding tilting, single-sided lifting, or pulling the FIBC at an angle.

Avoid rubbing, snagging, or colliding the FIBC with other items.

Do not pull the slings outwards to avoid unnecessary stress on the inner lining bag.

When using a forklift, ensure the forks do not touch or pierce the bag to prevent punctures.

2. Use Pallets:

When handling in the workshop, use pallets whenever possible to avoid directly hooking the FIBC with the hook.

When loading, unloading, and stacking, keep the bags upright; avoid standing them upright or at an angle.

3. Choose High-Quality Materials:

Choose high-strength protective materials, such as high-quality polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE) woven plastic fabrics, to improve the durability of the FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container)

4. Regular Inspection:

Before using the FIBC, carefully inspect it for defects or damage, including damage caused by wave contamination.

Regularly inspect the straps, ropes, and body of the FIBC to ensure they are intact.

5. Proper Loading:

Load the goods reasonably according to the FIBC's load-bearing capacity to avoid overloading.

Ensure the goods are evenly distributed inside the bag to avoid excessive local pressure.

6. Proper Storage:

If the FIBC needs to be stored outdoors, place it on a shelf and cover it tightly with an opaque tarpaulin to protect it from sun, rain, and aging.

The storage environment should be dry, well-ventilated, dust-free, and free from abrasion to avoid damaging the FIBC.

7. Employ Anti-Breakage Protection Technologies:

Use strapping and wrapping techniques to form a secure whole for easy handling and to prevent scattering and breakage.

Utilize containerization technology to reduce contact with the cargo, thereby preventing breakage.

By following the above recommendations, the risk of breakage of FIBCs during use can be effectively reduced, ensuring their safe and effective use.
