How to protect container lining bags to avoid cargo damage?

Jun 07, 2026

To protect the container lining bag and avoid cargo damage, you can start from the following aspects:

1. Load and secure goods correctly
Evenly distributed: When loading goods, ensure that the goods are evenly distributed in the lining bag to avoid damage to the lining bag caused by excessive local pressure. At the same time, the loading height and density of goods should be controlled within the carrying capacity of the lining bag.
Use binding straps: For goods in the container, especially heavy or fragile items, binding straps should be used for reinforcement to reduce the movement and collision of the goods during transportation, thereby reducing the impact on the lining bag.
Avoid sharp objects: When loading goods, care should be taken to avoid direct contact between sharp objects and the lining bag to prevent puncture of the lining bag.
2. Choose the appropriate lining bag

Material and strength: According to the nature, weight, and transportation conditions of the goods, select a lining bag with sufficient strength and wear resistance. Ensure that the material of the lining bag can meet the transportation needs of the goods and has certain moisture-proof and dust-proof properties.
Dimension matching: Choose a lining bag that matches the size of the container to ensure that it can completely cover the interior of the container and effectively prevent direct contact between the cargo and the container.
3. Standardize operation and maintenance

Standardized operations: When hoisting, handling, and stacking containers, standardized operating procedures should be followed to avoid unnecessary stress or damage to the lining bags.
Periodic inspection: During transportation, regularly check the condition of the lining bag to ensure that it is not damaged or deformed. Once the lining bag is found to be damaged or deformed, it should be replaced or repaired in time.
Cleaning and maintenance: Before loading, thoroughly clean and dry the container to ensure that the inside of the container is clean. At the same time, after use, the lining bag should be wrapped and stored in a ventilated place to avoid direct sunlight and a humid environment.
4. Control environmental conditions

Temperature and humidity: During transportation, try to keep the temperature and humidity in the container as stable as possible to avoid volume expansion or contraction of the cargo due to changes in temperature and humidity, which will cause pressure on the lining bag.
Avoid excessive vibration: During transportation, try to reduce sudden braking, sharp turns, etc., of the vehicle to reduce the vibration and bumps of the container. At the same time, you can choose to use shock-absorbing devices or reinforce the structure of the container to improve the stability of the container.
5. Cargo classification and packaging

Categorized storage: Classify and package goods according to their characteristics and transportation requirements. For goods that are prone to contamination or odor transfer, special packaging materials should be used and assembled in strict compliance with the requirements for mutual interferability of goods.
Anti-penetration and shock-proof: Use anti-permeability materials for packaging to avoid contact between goods and chemical substances. At the same time, fragile or vulnerable goods should be packed with shock-proof materials to reduce collisions and vibrations during transportation.
