How to Repair Container Bags?

Dec 05, 2025

Container bags are commonly used items in our daily work, with a high utilization rate. Of course, frequent use can damage the containers.

Generally, container bags are made of a base fabric, reinforcing fabric, and lifting straps sewn together. The lifting straps are connected to the three layers of fabric by a sewing machine, making them strong and able to withstand a certain weight.

What causes the bags to break?

1. Damage to the container bag during automatic packaging caused by sharp or pointed objects.

2. Damage to the container bag caused by improper use or excessive force during storage and transportation.

3. Due to special reasons, when vacuum sealing the bag, if the net content or volume of the contents exceeds the bag's tolerance, a strong external force can cause the bag to break and tear.

So, how to solve this?

Container bags are finished by the needle of a sewing machine. Each time, the sewing material is passed through one or more stitches, forming A units through self-connection, interconnection, or interlacing of the sewing material. During self-connecting sewing, the thread loop of the machine needle thread enters the front thread loop formed by the needle thread itself; after the machine needle thread pierces the fabric, it connects with the needle thread by bending the needle thread. The thread loop is then connected by the thread loop formed by the needle thread when feeding the needle at the seam. When container sewing machines interweave, the thread passes through the needle thread of the sewing machine. This generates a connecting thread loop.
