Pay attention to static electricity in large bags

Sep 11, 2023

When using packaging bags such as ton bags, it is necessary to pay more attention to possible accidents.
The accumulation of high electrostatic potential on the surface of the big bag is very prone to electrostatic sparks, and the possible hazards are:
1. A deflagration accident occurs
For example, the big bag is filled with flammable substances, and the steam emitted by it reaches a certain proportion of air, or when the solid dust reaches a certain concentration (that is, the explosion limit), it will explode once it encounters static sparks.
2. Electric shock phenomenon
For example, in the process of transporting tons of bags, a high-potential discharge of static electricity is generated, which brings the feeling of electric shock to the operator, which usually occurs when transporting a large number of bags in the warehouse.
During the transportation and stacking process, due to the strong friction between the large bags or bagged goods, a high-potential discharge of static electricity is generated, and even the operator is damaged by the electrostatic discharge.
During the processing of big bags, some manufacturers will use some special materials to make the big bags more resistant to high temperatures, but even so, the following conditions still need to be paid attention to during transportation:
Please hang the hook on the central part of the sling or the sling, do not hang it obliquely, and hang the high-temperature-resistant diameter on one side or on a cable stay. During the operation, do not let the high-temperature-resistant ton bag rub against other items, hook, or collide with the high-temperature-resistant ton bag. Do not pull the sling back out to the outside. When using a forklift, please do not touch or poke the fork into the bag body to prevent it from breaking.
