With the popularity of container bags, ton bags came out to replace the packaging for steel ball shipment, making the packaging light, easy to operate, easy to fold, and with a discharge port. However, in the design, the selection of raw materials, formula, weaving, and the distribution of the force structure of the whole bag and sewing design, especially aging and regularity are all related to the quality and durability of the product.
The design and use of materials for steel ball ton bags are different from other ton bag materials. Because the density of steel balls is one of the highest among the products loaded, the standard requirements for the PP base fabric of the bag are also very high. Generally, the following tests need to be done when selecting materials:
1 Lifting test: Generally, the bag is subjected to 5 times the load and then passes the drop test below 3 meters.
2 Positioning test: The bag lies horizontally on the ground and one or two rings are hung with a hook to observe whether the bag can break.
3 Tear test: If the force F distributed on a certain part of the carrier 10CM when the load is more than 5 times, the force distributed at that place when the rated load is lifted for tearing propagation is 1/5F.
Through the above simple tests, it can generally be judged that the bag body can be basically used, but the aging test needs to go through freezing and heating tests and weathering, which requires certain expensive test machines. This does not require such a large investment, and general professional designers can judge this project.
The colors of the bag are generally white and yellow, but most people use yellow because it is more resistant to dirt. The shape of the bag is generally cylindrical. Some people may wonder why square ton bags are not used? Generally, cylindrical bags are used when the steel balls are relatively small, and square bags are used when the steel balls are relatively large. There is no particular requirement for this, but it is just the convenience and habit of using the machine. The bags are relatively small, and most of them are double-layer bags, mainly for safety considerations. When using bags, the ton bag usage specifications must be strictly followed. The discharge port below should not be too large, mainly for safety. The discharge port is also made of brand new materials, and skilled workers must be used when making it. The slings are generally of better quality, and the inner size needs to be added. The belts are also selected according to the position. The slings are generally used for lifting, which have greater load-bearing and tension, making the bag safer.
