Precautions for Reusing Container Liners

Jan 17, 2026

Recycling packaging is increasingly valued by manufacturers as a way for companies to reduce costs and improve production efficiency. To avoid potential risks after large-scale use, users should pay attention to the quality of container liners in the following aspects:

1. Product Weight:

Ordinary container liners, as a common logistics packaging container, have the advantage of being lightweight and requiring less labor. Generally, a worker can handle hundreds of bags at a time while loading. After recycling, the durability and strength of the product are usually considered, so the weight of the recycled bag will inevitably be greater than that of an ordinary container liner. To meet recycling requirements, an increase in weight within a certain range is considered reasonable. However, some recycled bags on the market weigh 3-4 times more than ordinary container liners, which increases the labor intensity for workers. Therefore, the practicality of container liners is greatly reduced.

2. Leakage Prevention:

The powdery and granular dry bulk cargo used to load container liners may sometimes be as small as a few microns, which requires the container liner material to have high leak-proof properties. After recycling, the seams of the bag stretch under gravity, potentially creating new leak points. Therefore, to assess the suitability of recycled container liners, users should not only observe leaks during initial use but also evaluate leaks after multiple uses.

3. Moisture Resistance:

In addition to leak prevention, container liners should also have good moisture resistance to avoid losses due to moisture. Therefore, users should frequently observe the humidity of the cargo when using reusable container liners to prevent damage. Especially in areas with high rainfall, companies should repeatedly verify the moisture resistance of their products before large-scale use.

4. Ease of Unloading:

The operation of reusable container liners differs from that of ordinary container liners during unloading. The unloading efficiency of reusable container liners should, in principle, not be significantly lower than that of ordinary container liners. The unloading process should be completed within one minute. If this condition is not met, the product is clearly impractical.
