Bulk bags/ton bags typically hold 1 to 1.5 tons, but can also hold 2 to 3 tons. These bags place even higher demands on their materials: base fabric and straps. The seams must be particularly strong, requiring reinforced seams (as shown in the left image). While conventional seaming requires folding and sewing twice, reinforced seams involve folding and sewing twice, and then adding a twisted hem. This prevents the bag from unraveling due to loose seams. Diagonal ties can also be used inside the bag to reinforce its stability. Bulk bags sometimes contain powders, such as mineral powder, pharmaceutical powder, and flour. Companies typically use machine airflow filling. Once filled, ordinary bulk bags can leak through the gaps in the seams due to the airflow. Therefore, PE liners cannot be used. Leak-proofing measures, typically using cotton strips, must be implemented at the seams of the bulk bag to effectively address this problem.
