As an important logistics packaging tool, understanding and mastering the classification, selection, and application of bulk bags is crucial for improving logistics efficiency and reducing transportation costs.
Block Bag Classification
There are many different types of ton bags and bulk bags on the market, but they all share commonalities. They can be classified into the following main categories:
1. By Bag Shape: There are four main types: cylindrical, cubic, U-shaped, and rectangular.
2. By Loading and Unloading Method: There are three main types: top-loading, bottom-loading, side-loading, forklift-type, and pallet-type.
3. By Discharge Port: There are two types: with and without discharge ports.
4. By Bag Material: There are mainly coated fabric, double-warp base fabric, and composite materials. Woven fabric ton bags and aluminum-plastic ton bags are also available.
5. By Cargo Content: There are bulk goods and small packages.
6. By Use Frequency: There are single-use and multiple-use.
7. Packaging bags can be categorized into four types based on their anti-static properties: A, B, C, and D.
Type A bulk bags: No special requirements, used for raw materials with no specific ESD protection requirements.
Type B bulk bags: Breakdown voltage less than 6 kV, primarily used for raw materials with a minimum ignition energy (MIE) greater than 5 mJ.
Type C bulk bags: Breakdown voltage less than 6 kV, with a grounding resistance of less than 10^8 ohms at each point on the bag. Primarily used for raw materials with an MIE less than 5 mJ; grounding is required during loading and unloading.
Type D bulk bags: Breakdown voltage less than 6 kV, capable of safely dissipating static electricity in flammable gases with an MIE greater than 0.14 mJ without sparking. Primarily used for powdered raw materials with an MIE less than 1 mJ.
Selecting a bulk bag
When selecting a bulk bag, consider the following factors:
1. Transported items: Select the appropriate bulk bag material and load capacity based on the nature of the item being transported. For example, for corrosive items, materials with good corrosion resistance should be selected.
2. Transportation Environment: Consider factors such as temperature, humidity, and friction during transportation to select appropriate bulk bag materials for different needs.
3. Loading Method: Select the appropriate bulk bag size, shape, and sling type based on the loading method. For example, bulk bags with slings suitable for both plug-in and overhead lifting applications should be selected.
4. Reusability: If the bulk bag needs to be reused, materials with good wear resistance, tear resistance, and aging resistance should be selected.
Applications of Ton Bags
Bulk bags are widely used in various fields. The following are some common application scenarios:
1. Logistics and Transportation: Bulk bags are used for long-distance transportation of bulk cargo such as coal, ore, fertilizers, and crops. Due to their large capacity and easy loading and unloading, they can effectively improve transportation efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
2. Warehousing Management: In warehouses, bulk bags can be used to store bulk cargo for easy management and stacking.
3. Chemical Industry: Bulk bags are used to transport and store chemical raw materials and intermediates. 4. Building materials industry: It can be used to transport cement, sand, gravel, and other building materials. At the construction site, it can also be used as a temporary storage and transportation tool to facilitate construction.
