Four main points to be met in the design of FIBC

Dec 22, 2020

The design of FIBC must strictly implement the GB/T10454-2000 national standard. Container bags are used as export packaging. It is necessary to ensure that the exported goods can effectively protect the loaded items during the loading, unloading, transportation and storage process, and the goods can be transported to the destination safely and well. Therefore, the FIBC design must meet the four main points, namely safety, storage, usability, and sealing.

1. Safety: Mainly refers to the strength of the container bag. In the design, the packaging volume, the weight of the contents and the number of packaging units must be considered, as well as the distance of the transportation, the number of transportations, and the means of transportation and transportation methods used. In the GB/T10454-2000 FIBC national standard, the FIBC base fabric and sling technical index requirements are strictly specified. From a safety perspective, it is clear that the FIBC structure is all bottom hanging structure. The safety factor must reach 1.6.

2. Storage: According to the user's conditions of use, materials should be selected reasonably and the ratio should be reasonable. The anti-aging ability of plastic products under the sun is a concern at present, and it is also a problem frequently encountered in the actual use of FIBCs. Pay attention to the use of anti-purple agents and the choice of materials during the production process.

3. Usability: When designing FIBCs, we must fully consider the specific ways and methods of customers using FIBCs, such as lifting, transportation, and loading material performance. In addition, it is necessary to consider whether it is food packaging, and it must be considered non-toxic and harmless to the packaged food.

4. Sealability: Different packaging materials have different sealing requirements. Such as powders or toxic materials, and articles that are afraid of being contaminated have very strict requirements on sealing performance, and materials that are prone to moisture or mildew also have special requirements for air tightness. Therefore, when designing the FIBC, pay attention to the influence of the base fabric covering process and the sewing process on the sealing performance.
