How to protect container lining bags during transportation

Jun 20, 2026

During the transportation of goods, it is crucial to protect the container lining bag, as this affects the safety of the goods, transportation efficiency, and cost control.

Here are some effective protective measures:

1. Load goods correctly
Evenly distributed: Ensure that the goods are evenly distributed in the lining bag to avoid excessive local pressure, which may cause damage to the lining bag.
Control loading height and density: Do not exceed the load-bearing capacity of the lining bag to prevent damage due to overload.
2. Choose the appropriate lining bag

Material selection: Based on the nature, weight, and transportation conditions of the goods, select a lining bag with sufficient strength and wear resistance. Make sure the material of the lining bag can meet the transportation needs of the goods.
Dimension matching: Choose a lining bag that matches the size of the container to ensure that it can completely cover the interior of the container and effectively prevent direct contact between the cargo and the container.
3. Standardized operations

Lifting operations: During the lifting process, avoid standing under the lifting bag to prevent accidents. At the same time, try to avoid pulling the sling outward in the opposite direction to avoid unnecessary stress on the lining bag.
Avoid dragging: Do not drag the container bag on the ground to prevent sharp objects on the ground from puncturing the lining of the bag.
Forklift operation: When using a forklift, ensure that the fork does not contact or penetrate the bag body to prevent puncture of the lining bag.
4. Control environmental conditions

Temperature and humidity: During transportation, try to keep the temperature and humidity in the container as stable as possible to avoid volume expansion or contraction of the cargo due to changes in temperature and humidity, which will cause pressure on the lining bag.
Avoid excessive vibration and jolts: Minimize sudden braking, sharp turns, etc. of the vehicle to reduce vibration and jolts of the container. At the same time, you can choose to use shock-absorbing devices or reinforce the structure of the container to improve the stability of the container.
5. Regular inspection and maintenance

Check the status of the lining bag: During transportation, regularly check the status of the lining bag to ensure that it is not damaged or deformed. If the lining bag is found to be damaged or deformed, it should be replaced or repaired in time.
Clean the container: Before loading, the container should be thoroughly washed, dried, and strictly inspected to ensure that the inside of the container is clean. This helps prevent contaminants from causing damage to the liner bag.
6. Cargo classification and packaging

Categorized storage: Classify and package goods according to their characteristics and transportation requirements. For goods that are prone to contamination or odor transfer, special packaging materials should be used and assembled in strict compliance with the requirements for mutual interferability of goods.
Anti-permeable materials: Use anti-permeable materials for packaging to avoid contact between goods and chemical substances, thereby protecting the lining bags from chemical contamination.
