The service life of ton bags

Jun 17, 2026

Ensuring the strength and durability of container bags requires comprehensive consideration and implementation from many aspects.

The following are some key measures:

1. Material selection and quality control
Choose high-quality synthetic fiber materials: such as polypropylene (PP), polyester (PET), etc. These materials have excellent physical properties and chemical stability and are ideal choices for manufacturing container bags.
Conduct strict quality inspection on raw materials: ensure they comply with relevant standards and regulations. This includes checking the material's tensile strength, wear resistance, chemical resistance, and other performance indicators.
Choose formal channels to purchase raw materials: and check the shelf life, test reports, and other relevant certification materials to ensure the quality of the raw materials is reliable.
2. Production technology and manufacturing process control

Strictly control the temperature, pressure and other parameters of injection molding to ensure the strength and durability of the container bag. Injection molding is a key link in manufacturing container bags, and its quality directly affects the strength and durability of the container bag.
Carry out special tests and inspections on product seals and joints to prevent air leakage and loosening. The quality of seals and joints is an important part of ensuring the sealing and overall strength of the container bag.
Carry out strict quality inspection on the finished container bags: including tests on appearance quality, dimensional accuracy, load-bearing capacity, etc. This ensures that the container bags comply with relevant standards and regulations before leaving the factory.
3. Structural design and optimization

Properly design the structure of the container bag: including slings, rings, bottom structure, etc., to ensure its load-bearing capacity and stability. For example, structural designs such as reinforcing ribs and adding bottom supports can enhance the overall strength of the container bag.
According to the characteristics and transportation requirements of the loaded materials: Reasonably design the volume of the container bag, the size of the straps and rings, etc., to ensure its stability and safety during transportation and storage.
4. Use and maintenance

During hoisting operations: The hook should be hung in the center of the sling or rope, and avoid lifting the container bag diagonally, single-sidedly or diagonally to avoid danger caused by uneven force.
During transportation and storage: Avoid collision and friction between container bags and other items to prevent them from being damaged or reducing their service life. Pallets or racks can be used for transportation and storage to reduce the risk of wear and damage to the FIBC.
Place the container bag in a dry, ventilated place: avoid direct sunlight and humid environments. For long-term storage of container bags, it is recommended to wrap them in opaque shed cloth or paper to keep them clean and prevent the accumulation of dust and dirt.
Perform regular inspections of container bags: including appearance, integrity of straps, rings, and other components. For slightly damaged container bags, they should be repaired in time; for seriously damaged container bags, they should be replaced in time.
5. Training and supervision

Carry out necessary training for employees who use container bags: make them understand the correct use methods, precautions, and emergency measures of container bags. This can improve employees' safety awareness and operational skills and ensure the safety and effectiveness of container bags.

Establish a sound supervision mechanism: regularly inspect and evaluate the use of container bags. Take timely measures to rectify and eliminate discovered problems and hidden dangers. This ensures that the container bag maintains good condition and performance during long-term use.
