The main quality inspection and assurance links of ton bags

Mar 27, 2026

As a kind of packaging bag used for packaging and transporting bulk materials, the quality of ton bags is directly related to the safety of products and transportation efficiency. In order to ensure the quality of ton bags, a series of strict quality inspection measures is required. The following are some major quality assurance links:

1. Material inspection
Raw material inspection: Check the raw materials required for the production of ton bags, such as polypropylene, polyethylene, and other plastic particles, to ensure that their quality meets production requirements and is free of impurities.
Physical property testing: Conduct physical property testing on raw materials, such as tensile strength, elongation at break, etc., to ensure that the raw materials meet production standards.
2. Production process control

Process parameter monitoring: During the production process, process parameters such as temperature, pressure, speed, etc., are monitored in real time to ensure the stability and consistency of the production process.
Quality sampling inspection: Set up sampling inspection points on the production line to conduct random sampling inspections of semi-finished products to promptly discover and correct problems that may arise during the production process.
3. Finished product inspection

Appearance inspection: Check whether the appearance of the ton bag is smooth and undamaged, whether the sewing is firm, whether the label printing is clear, etc.
Dimensional measurement: Use measuring tools to measure the length, width, height, and other dimensions of the ton bag to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Weight inspection: Use a scale to weigh the ton bag to ensure that the weight error is within the allowable range (generally no more than 2%).
Performance test: Carry out load-bearing test, tensile test, weather resistance test, etc., to ensure that the ton bag has sufficient strength and durability.

4. Packaging and labeling

Packaging inspection: Check whether the outer packaging of the ton bag is complete and whether the seal is firm.
Label inspection: Make sure that the product name, model, production date, manufacturer, net weight, gross weight, and other information are clearly printed on the ton bag and are not easy to fall off.

5. Special inspection

Environmental protection inspection: For large bags that need to meet environmental protection requirements, environmental protection inspection is also required to ensure that their materials are non-toxic, harmless, and recyclable.
Customized inspection: Customized inspection according to customer needs, such as waterproof performance, dustproof performance, etc.
6. Recording and tracing

Inspection records: Detailed inspection records for each batch of ton bags, including inspection time, inspection personnel, inspection results, and other information.
Traceability system: Establish a complete traceability system to ensure that when quality problems occur, they can be quickly traced back to the source and dealt with.
